These are my two OC's.
.Name: Iris Marks
.Gender: Female
.Age: 21
.Nationality: 1/2 German, 1/2 Chinese
.Personality: She's often a wise ass and very sarcastic. Iris is two-faced, showing her "naughty" side to Spade, while acting elegant and graceful in front of others.
.History: Iris comes from the future, taking people through different universes. Her reasons why are a secret.
.Name: Spade Razbutonne
.Gender: Male
.Age: 18
.Nationality: 1/2 Ukrainian, 1/2 Korean
.Personality: He's generally easy-going but ocassionally gets fed up with Iris' silly -cough sadistic- antics. He finds himself experiencing a wide gamut of emotions, and he is a bit sensitive at times. Spade is simply a lost teenager who needs guidance. Also he likes to act like an idiot, but he gets straight A's at school. Let's just say he's book smart but street stupid.
.History: At age 16, Spade went through something traumatizing, (Don't worry, he wasn't raped or molested o_O) and it left him a bit rebellious. Which caused him to obviously feel guilt when his parents died (Come on, you knew it would happen. All heroes' parents must die.) This is when Iris came to him, offering him a place to live and a chance to see his parents again (alive).

This is the first manga project I'm hoping to do. (The other horror one, if you guys remember, is actually only a side project; this one will be a pretty long one.) I've tried to get some other people to collab with me on this, but it's been hard to get things organized. I'll probably have to do it alone. T_T Haha, so let's just say this is a teaser, cause I don't expect to get working on this until the summer or even next year.
Oh and you guys notice how both of them are mixed? I'm going on a mission to let it be known that there ARE PEOPLE OF MIXED RACES. Goddammit I'm tired of everyone mistaking my race, and what am I supposed to put under race in SAT's??? It was also on my AP test on Friday, and I had to put OTHER. Wow. Somehow, I was offended. They seriously shouldn't even ask that question. /rant

It drives me crazy that people think that the're only one race of a nationality (if I said that right
I was going at it differently though, cause I'm half Chinese and half German. Everyone thinks I'm either American or Japanese (building on your thing, how everyone thinks Asian = Japanese).

I took the CSTs last week and there was an ethnicity section which had two parts if you were a mixed mixed race. I thought that was nice due to the fact that there's many White/Mexican people out here.
as for the asian thing, it diffrent in palm springs. If you're an asian you're either Korean,or Filipino. (some filips get confused as mexicans
